1. B Town Celebs gave a whole- hearted response to the relief fund announcement made by Indian PM Sh. Narendra Modi. Bollywood’s Fitness Khiladi Akshay Kumar is acclaimed for donating the highest amount of Rs 25 crore in the PM-CARES Fund. he tweeted it by saying “Let’s save lives, jaan hai to jahaan hai”.

Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan’s maneuver in regard to the Corona battle is to hand out 25,000-odd daily wage workers of the film industry.

T-Series fame Bhushan Kumar promised to donate Rs 11 crore.

Baahubali lead star Prabhas also contributed Rs 4 crore to the relief funds befitting to combat the COVID-19.

The debonair actor Kartik Aaryan announced a contribution of Rs 1 crore and asked people to be a part of the noble cause.

The gorgeous Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra, pledged to hand out a sum of Rs 21 lakhs to PM-CARES.

TV actor and dynamic host  Maniesh Paul said he will give Rs 20 lakh and Murad Khetani, the producer of blockbuster movie “Kabir Singh”, made a contribution of Rs 25 lakh to PM-CARES and another 25 lakhs to the Maharashtra Relief Fund.

The voguish designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee lended a great amount of Rs 1 crore of his personal funds to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) along with Rs 50 lakhs to Chief Minister of West Bengal’s Relief Fund.

The fabulous comedian Kapil Sharma committed a sum of Rs 50 lakh to actively participate in the fight against the menace.

How can the famous Indian fraternity from the sports era could stay silent when such a threat is prevailing all around. The master blaster Sachin Tendulkar mentioned a donation of Rs 25 lakh each to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. In the country’s fight against the pandemic, India’s richest sporting body, the BCCI, pledged a donation of Rs 51 crore to the PM’s Relief Fund.The Pathan brothers, Irfan and Yusuf donated 4000 face masks to Baroda police and health and the former World Cup winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, through a Pune based NGO, made a contribution of Rs 1 lakh to play a role in sufficing the situation.

Suresh Raina donated Rs 52 lakh to step up in the times of need and combat the deadly virus. Brilliant Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has donated Rs 45 lakh to the PM Fund and Rs 25 lakh to the Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund. Also, he extended his help by crediting Rs 5 lakh to ‘Zomato Feeding India’, and another Rs 5 lakh for the welfare of stray dogs. PV Sindhu, an amazing Indian professional badminton player donated an amount of Rs 5 lakh towards the “Chief Minister’s Relief Fund” for the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to fight against COVID-19.One of the India’s best batsman and versatile captain Virat Kohli and his lady luck Anushka put forth their prestigious support towards PM-CARES and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). They did not reveal the amount but prayed to ease the pain of their fellow citizens. Star wrestler Bajrang Punia, working as an OSD in Railways opened up a huge heart to donate his six months salary to Haryana coronavirus relief fund.

3. Business Tycoons

Ratan Tata, Chairman Tata Trusts and Chairman Emeritus Tata Sons, made a heartfelt commitment of Rs 500 crore towards manufacturing of personal protective equipment(PPE), respiratory systems, testing kits, set- up for modular treatment and training of health workers. Billionaire Gautam Adani Foundation and the Vedanta group also announced a big amount of Rs 100 crore.

Another commendable help is solely dedicated by India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani who planned to produce 1 lakh masks per day, free fuel to emergency vehicles bringing the coronavirus patients and free meals to the affected people. Besides this, the Reliance chairman pledged a sum of Rs 5 crore offered to support Maharashtra CM relief fund. The Reliance Industries had also set up India’s first coronavirus dedicated hospital in Mumbai. The list of Indian contributors will never come to an end. 

There must be many un-recognized faces who sincerely dedicated more or less from their savings. The thoughtful concern to fight together matters more than the revelation of the funds donated. Even a single penny is worth it if it’s a part of Country’s donation for fighting a mence.
